Podcasts

Mr. Wince will be recommending Podcasts for students throughout the school year. Some may be required in place of reading a text while others may be recommendations for students who have questions and are wanting to go deeper into a topic.

Flexible Availability

Podcasts can be listened to whenever and wherever you have access to the internet. Maybe the classroom is not where you are in a place to listen. Podcasts allow you to listen anywhere when you are ready.

Listening Skills

Students are willing to listen longer than they are to watch or read. Watching or reading requires your full attention while listening to a podcast can be done while doing other tasks.

Benefits for Mental and Visual Impairments

Learning through listening could be more enjoyable for some students. Also, if you have struggled with reading, podcasts could be your way into learning new information.
