Project Description
In this introduction to Psychology unit, students will begin to learn basic concepts and idea of psychology in order to make connections to their lives as teenagers. Students will read articles, watch videos and research to learn these concepts as well as chose a topic to investigate such as stress, disorders, memory, gender, personality, motivation and the like. Students will investigate and share their thinking on a variety of psychology scenarios to show individual understanding. They will used what they learn to create chapters for an anthology that will share information on their topics of choice and the application to teenagers including explanations for behaviors and strategies to support teenagers. Students will share this anthology with the adults in their lives.
