How have Americans used collective action to impact progress towards justice for all people?
Q4
Our Voices, Our Future.
Driving Question
How can we create a 3-part podcast series that advocates for all people in America to experience peace, life and joy?
Project Description
As we finish off this school year, our content shifts to more modern American History and it may be easier, not necessarily easy, to see/feel/hear the effects of these more recents historical events on our lives. Learning history should help us get ideas for what we can do, possibly very differently, when we encounter similar situations based on what has or has not worked in the past.
Creating something is hard. Taking something already created and trying to reimagine it to something "better" may be even harder.
We are not going to be able to start from nothing, hopefully.
Students will be asked to reimagine our systems around us and create a plan that values peace, life (access to healthy food, water, air, land) and joy. By creating a podcast to talk through their ideas students will be able to use their voices to advocate for Something Better.
