- Each group is going to be assigned a speech.
- Speech 1 - Acuera (Timucua)
- Speech 2 - Chikataubut (Massachuset)
- Speech 3 - Miantinomo (Narraganset)
- Speech 4 - Unnamed (Iroquois)
- Speech 5 - Pontiac (Ottawa)
- Your group is responsible for reading the speech as a whole group, out loud, together.
- You need to create a poster that includes the following information.
- Each person in your group needs to have their own color marker that you use on your poster.
- You will be presenting this information to the whole class. EACH PERSON HAS TO PRESENT THEIR COLOR.
- Title - Name of your Person
- Short Summary - 1-2 sentences.
- 2 images or symbols that represent the speech
- 2 quotes that describe the emotions/feelings of the speaker
- 2 original saying that your group agrees sums up the main message of the speaker
