Today, I am grateful to be able to watch my daughter's play volleyball!
Both of my daughters were playing in Vegas this weekend. I was not able to attend but that does not mean that I do not want to support and cheer on! I am thankful for the parents who live stream the games so that I could watch! I love watching my daughters compete and be great teammates! I am so proud of all of their hard work and determination to continue to improve! Love you both!

Today, I am grateful to be able to sit and watch the birds come to my backyard space to the birdfeeder!
I want life in my backyard from lizards, plants and flowers and BIRDS! I think birds are so interesting and pretty! I moved my lawn chair out into the yard so I could get closer! I think it is amazing that the bird food that I bought is the exact birds that are showing up! Might have to switch up the food after a bit to get even more diversity of birds! Today, I am grateful for being able to go to the Diamondback's Opening Day game with my son and friends.
I loved hearing my son yelling at the players to either hit a homerun or get an out! We witnessed history with the DBacks scoring 13 runs in one inning, a franchise record! I love having experiences with my son because it will be something that we can talk about and remember for a very long time! Today, I am grateful for my father!
In the second week of Spring Break my father came to AZ to spend time with me and my son. I know if my mother came we would have done some different activities but I loved spending 10-12 hours of watching NCAA basketball with my dad. I grew up in the gym while my father was the head coach and basketball is something that unites us. I also loved making bets with my son about who would win and the losers had to do cannonballs into the pool! Thank you father for being an awesome dad and grandpa! Today, I rode my bike to work for the first time in my life!
I want to be healthier and be more active and one way that I can do that is to ride to school a couple times a week when I don't have to give my son a ride to school. I have always wanted to be a person who commutes to work by either walking or riding a bike and now I am! So dope! Being a newbie, I don't know how to get my coffee to school without it spilling all over my backpack. I don't have a cupholder, yet, on my bike. I will get one! I also broke in my new bike helmet while eating pizza last night because I was nervous! Change and new is something I like but that does not mean it is not bring up nervousness in me. Cheers! |
